FAQs

IS YOUR FACILITY OPEN TO ACTIVE FIRST RESPONDERS ONLY, OR ARE FORMER FIRST RESPONDERS ACCEPTED?

Both current and former first responders are accepted.

WHAT DO YOU TREAT?

We treat substance abuse and a variety of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, acute stress disorder (ASD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

WHERE WILL I GO AND HOW LONG WILL I STAY?

First Responders Recovery offers several different treatment options. Many clients live and are treated at our Ft. Lauderdale facilities (residential-style treatment). Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) allows some individuals to continue working while receiving treatment. Each client is different, but in general, most of our clients are in treatment for at least one session of 30 days. More sessions are sometimes required.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Yes. For more information, please visit our insurance page.

WHAT IF YOU DON’T HAVE INSURANCE?

We offer affordable self-pay rates and can assist with financing. Contact us today to learn more.

WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE MY LOVED ONE WHILE HE/SHE IS IN TREATMENT?

Absolutely. Our programs stress family involvement in the recovery process, and our clients’ loved ones are encouraged to support them throughout treatment.
